We have discovered the best Chicken Wings with Chilli sauce at the East Coast Hawker Centre! One of our favourite places to take people when they visit Singapore! I literally crave the Chilli Sauce and upon mentioning this to our helper, Violy, she promptly made the most delicious Chilli Ginger Sauce I have ever tasted! So much so, that it beats the Hawker Centre Chilli by far!
I am so excited to share this recipe with you, because it is one of the easiest recipes I’ve ever used, AND, the Chilli is packed with Vitamin C, beta carotene and Capsaicin which fights inflammation! Ginger is very healing to the digestive system and great for nausea, and Garlic helps strengthen our immune system and kills off pathogens, parasites, cold and flu! A great ALL-ROUNDER!!
Here it is:
200g Fresh Red Chillies 80g Garlic, peeled 80g Ginger, peeled 10 tsps White Vinegar or Apple Cider Vinegar 2 Tbsps Sugar (you can also use Xylitol) 2 tsps Salt Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor until almost smooth! The Thermomix is perfect if you have one! (If you don't have a Thermomix, I urge you to get one - it may seem like a lot of money, but it is well worth the investment!)
